Who We Are?

Workman Construction LLC was founded in 2023 by a father-and-son Jorge Barrera and Jorge Jr a duo team built on experience, hard work, and old-school values mixed with modern ideas

Growing up, I watched my father, Jorge, work tirelessly for others — often outworking the boss himself and taking full responsibility for the projects he was on. He took pride in doing things the right way, even if it meant staying late or pushing through tough conditions just to make sure the job was completed with integrity.

He started in construction doing some of the hardest work, breaking concrete, and worked his way up by mastering masonry and concrete. Over the years, he built a deep understanding of the trade — knowledge he passed down to me.

Seeing that level of dedication, I knew we could build something of our own. Together, we started Workman Construction with a clear mindset: quality over quantity, no shortcuts, and work we can stand behind.

The name Workman comes from what I learned watching my father. To me, a true working man is tough, honest, and dependable — someone who takes pride in their work and does whatever it takes to get the job done right, regardless of the conditions.

As owner-operators, we are directly involved in every project. From the first conversation to the final result, we handle all planning, coordination, and execution to ensure everything is done properly.

To us, it’s not just construction — it’s about carrying on a standard of hard work, integrity, and pride in every project, while building lasting relationships with the people we work with.
